It's easy to get carried away at the grocery store. But in some cities across America, it's far easier to completely blow your budget. Business Insider got information from the Bureau of Labor Statistics on 22 major metropolitan areas about what average households spend on food every month, and the results were shocking. For example, the average household spend of a family living in Dallas is $286 a month. But in Seattle, the average is closer to $500! Buying in bulk, keeping an eye out for deals, or heading to the grocery store with a detailed meal plan can help reduce that grocery bill. Tampa, Atlanta, and Phoenix were on the low end for expenditures, coming in at 21st, 20th, and 19th place respectively. On the pricier end were San Diego, California; Honolulu, Hawaii;, and Anchorage, Alaska--coming in at second, third, and fourth place respectively. https://www.businessinsider.com/what-... http://www.wochit.com This video was produced by YT Wochit Business using http://wochit.com
